On The Water Review
All-In-One Northern Guide Light Weight with
jacket AWB22901WJ
First off this may be the best
invention since the breathable wader entered the
market. When we first heard news of this product
we just had check it out for ourselves. Upon
reviewing the All-In-One system one question
kept creeping into my mind, "Why hasn't anyone
thought of this sooner?"
The waders themselves are a patented all weather
breathable design featuring CaddisDry™
Breathable Technology. I found the fit of the
waders to be perfectly sized as stated on the
Caddis website. How many times have you
purchased waders thinking that they will fit
only to find that they are either too small or
too big? I would rate a 10 on comfort and size!
The jacket is attached to the wader in the back
so you wont ever lose the jacket. It is neatly
stored in an easy accessible Velcro pocket in
the back of the wader. Surprisingly it is not
bulky and pretty much unnoticeable while wearing
the waders. It is very easy to remove the jacket
from the pocket and put on. The Jacket has
Velcro closures down the front of the jacket as
well as around the wrists. While wearing the
jacket you are completely protected from the
elements. The jacket overlaps your wader leaving
no areas open to clothing that could get soaked
from a rain shower. The jacket also features a
hood that can be used to protect yourself as
well.
What makes this product so great is the fact
that you wont ever have to carry rain gear
again, ever! You will always have access to a
lightweight jacket while wearing these waders,
how great is that? This is the perfect pair of
waders for travel since it's one less garment
you will have to pack. We found during our on
the water review that the jacket was not only
great against the rain but it was nice to have
when the wind picked up too. Great thing to have
when the weather maybe chilly in the morning and
warmer as the day goes on. It's easy enough to
pack it back into it's pocket and forget about
it. How many times have you been caught in a
passing rain shower, only to find you forgot to
pack your rain gear? I am all about simplicity
and carrying only what I need and with the
All-In-One wader system I can do just that.
We highly recommend the All-In-One Northern
Guide System. This is a high quality pair of
waders we were very impressed with their
construction, fit, and feel. This system would
be ideal for the Saltwater as well since the
jacket completely protects you from the
elements. If your fishing a pond or stream or
chasing stripers in the tide this system is
ideal.
Construction
These waders are of high quality we
could find no flaw in construction. All of the
seams were well taped and protected as well as
the embroidered designs. The straps are easy to
adjust and we loved the fact that the gravel
guards are integrated so you will never lose
them. The foot seams are taped inside and out,
the seat and knees are reinforced. There is a
large front pocket that has welded seams as
well.
The waders come boxed with a wading belt, repair
patches, and storage bag.
