New England On The
Fly is the creation of Chris
Richards who is an avid fisherman and
conservationist, with many years of experience
fishing, fly tying, and rod building. New
England On The Fly began as The Fly Fishing Den
in 1996 and continued thru
2008. The Fly Fishing Den
offered general information on Fly Fishing and
was one of the first of it's kind on the
internet.
New England On The Fly was transitioned from The
Fly Fishing Den in order to highlight the
abundance of fishing opportunity New England has
to offer. New England offers some of the best
fresh and saltwater fishing around yet the New
England area is rarely ever focused in the
media. Fishing in the New England area is rarely
found in magazines, DVD's, the web, or
television.
New England has a vast amount of bodies of water
to fish from whether you choose a river, stream,
lake, or beach there is something for everyone.
The northeast is the area if your on a quest for
Salmon from the Saco, Bass on Lake
Winnipesaukee, Trout from the Battenkill,
Stripers off the beaches of Martha's Vineyard,
or Native Brook Trout from The Swift River.
Where else is picture perfect than releasing a
Rainbow back into a clear stream with a backdrop
of fall foliage in the mountains climbing up
into the sky?
Who are We?
New England On The Fly is not a
website for monetary gain, any proceeds from
this site goes right back into the site and the
promotion of Fly Fishing. Our Mission is to
promote Fly Fishing the New England area and
conservation.
New England On The Fly is not just for
visitors that reside in the New England area.
We offer general fly fishing information and
tips that can be utilized anywhere. We currently
have visitors from over 126 countries.
What Does a
Sponsor Get?
A sponsor will receive advertising on our site
starting with a brief listing with all of our
other sponsors featured on a
sponsor page. There will be
a link from that page to a page devoted to your
company and or a sampling of your product,
products, or services you provide. There will
also be links to your website.
Sponsorship may be in the form of a donation of a product or service
that can be included in a free contest for our
visitors or a product review. Contests and
reviews are featured on the homepage
and donators receive full credit on the actual
contest and review pages as well.
Gear Reviews
We would love to review your product and feature
it on our homepage, later it would be moved to a
gear review page. The review will remain on our
site.
In Closing
New England On The Fly is dedicated to promoting
the sport of Fly Fishing and conservation. We
have many ideas and will be promoting this
website thru podcasts, Fly Fishing shows etc. in
the near future. So with the help

we hope to pass on clean waters and tight lines
to the next generation!
