Outfit
Targeted at kids ages 6 and up, the
outfit is precisely designed and tuned
to meet the needs of the young novice
angler. Included are an easy-casting,
medium 2-piece 5/6 weight fly rod and an
unfussy and durable Crosswater 4/5/6
reel. The reel comes preloaded with
backing, weight-forward fly line, and a
knotless leader. Just add water (and a
barb-less fly!). |

The new Redington
Drift series reel brings a classic reel
model back to the Redington reel lineup.
The Drift features a time-tested
click-and-pawl drag. Traditional in
design, it's made to balance perfectly
with a light-line trout rod.
Redington's reel designers carefully
designed the Drift, paying special
attention to durable mechanics and
modern aesthetics. The Drift is crafted
from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum and
is anodized in two colors. Black and
Titanium. A premium metal pawl sings
perfectly along the teeth of the inner
gear on the reel's spool. A non-complex
gear system is easy to maintain and can
be adjusted to suit the needs of the
angler. The lightweight, mid-arbor
design features a quick-release spool
that's easy to change from right to left
hand retrieve.
